CREATION RESIDENCY PROGRAM FOR EMERGING ARTISTS IN DANCE, MUSIC AND THEATRE

The aim of this residency program is to offer quality studios to emerging artists, along with the guidance of a senior artistic advisor and a creation grant. The program is also designed to encourage intergenerational encounters and sharing of expertise to help raise the public profile of the artists. Under this program, a work will be created during a residency at the studios of the Conseil des arts de Montréal, and subsequently presented to the public.

This program is intended for independent artists under the age of 40, groups (collectives) composed primarily of artists under the age of 40, as well as organizations incorporated for less than 7 years. All applicants must be actively creating in the fields of dance, music or theatre. All projects must be presented within 10 months of creation.
