Deadline for applications: Coming

The Conseil des arts de Montréal, TOHU and the Circus Arts National Network En Piste, are pooling their resources to support the professional development of emerging circus artists, raise the visibility of the circus on the Island of Montreal, and give the public more exposure to circus arts.

The Tremplin program offers an emerging artist collective or organization operating in the circus arts an opportunity to present a new work as part of TOHU’s programming and the CAM touring program Le Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée. The selected collective or organization will also be offered professional coaching through En Piste’s individualized coaching program.

The proposed work must be fully completed and ready for presentation. Any prior presentation of the work in Montreal must have been in a limited context only. Since the goal is to give more prominence to the circus arts in Montreal, consideration will be given only to works that are adapted to the technical specifications of municipal performance venues.
