he CALQ and CAM are pleased to announce the renewal of the Entente de partenariat territorial en lien avec la collectivité de l’île de Montréal 2025–2028.
Montréal, February 5, 2025 – The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) and the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) announced today the renewal of the Entente de partenariat territorial en lien avec la collectivité du territoire de l’Île de Montréal. The new agreement is backed by a total investment of $1,475,000, an increase of $345,000 over the previous agreement. Spread over three years (2025–2028), this funding ensures implementation of the Programme de partenariat territorial en lien avec la collectivité de l’île de Montréal, which supports environmentally responsible projects and resource-pooling initiatives.
This increase was made possible by a major donation from Power Corporation of Canada, which is committed to supporting the program for the duration of the agreement. Its gesture also inspired an anonymous donor to make a one-time donation of $65,000 for the program’s first year, to be invested exclusively in sustainable artistic creation, production, promotion and/or presentation projects.
Professional arts organizations on the Island of Montreal have until May 1, 2025 to submit their projects to CALQ, starting February 13, 2025.
