The 2021 Envol Award including a $10,000 grant from the Conseil has been awarded to 100Lux. The jury was won over by the organization’s vision to be a creative hub for the dance community, its tireless perseverance and the outstanding spirit of solidarity shown by its co-founder Axelle Munezero.
100Lux plays a key role as a catalyst for the development of Montréal’s street dance community. An essential platform for providing training and support for creation and performance, its initiatives benefit Montréal’s entire professional dance scene.

Presented by the Conseil des arts de Montréal at the Prix de la Danse de Montréal, the Envol Award recognizes either a significant contribution to the dance community or a remarkable achievement over the last season and is awarded to an individual, collective or organization whose works promote cultural diversity or inclusive practices.
